If there are special requirements for translucency and coloring of the dental prosthesis, for example in the jaw area or with existing remaining teeth, a zirconium dioxide framework with hand-layered veneer is an ideal solution. This veneered full ceramic ensures excellent soft tissue integration and a particularly attractive red-white aesthetic.
Dental prosthetics made of full ceramic are industrially pre-colored, ensuring a consistently uniform color and avoiding losses in translucency. Zirconium dioxide is also available with an integrated color gradient. Dental prosthetics made from multilayer or multicolor blanks appear particularly natural and can replicate harmonious color gradations of the tooth neck, dentin, and enamel, supporting the appearance of a real tooth.
With various translucency levels from opaque (35%) to extra translucent (49%), dental prosthetics made of zirconium dioxide are particularly recommended in the visible tooth area.
Aesthetic Finish
Thanks to a modern finishing system, restorations made of full ceramic can now be produced to have a more natural and beautiful surface structure. With this “aesthetic booster,” the same effects can be achieved with minimal additional effort as with traditional layering: individually designed surfaces, natural light refraction index, perfectly adjusted fluorescence and opacity for contrast, depth effect, and halo light effects at cutting edges.
Glass Ceramic (Lithium Disilicate)
For indications such as inlays, onlays, and veneers, good color matching to the existing remaining tooth substance is particularly important. This can be achieved with glass ceramic in the form of lithium disilicate. The optical properties of glass ceramic support inconspicuous integration of the remaining tooth substance. An opaque material variant is available for covering dark stumps.
